  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients and residents.
  2. Perform phlebotomy procedures accurately and efficiently.
  3. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  4. Monitor and record vital signs and other important patient information.
  5. Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
  6. Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  9. Adhere to all healthcare and safety regulations and protocols.
  10. Complete and maintain accurate patient records.
  11. Continuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training.
  12. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
  13. Report any changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  14. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Cna Certification: Candidates For This Position Should Have An Active Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification In The State They Will Be Working In. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Completed The Necessary Training And Has The Required Skills To Provide Basic Patient Care.

  • Phlebotomy Training: In Addition To A Cna Certification, Candidates Should Also Have Completed A Phlebotomy Training Program And Possess A Phlebotomy Certification Or License. This Ensures That The Candidate Has The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Safely And Accurately Draw Blood From Patients.

  • Experience In Long-Term Care: Pruitthealth Primarily Serves Patients In Long-Term Care Facilities, So Experience Working In This Type Of Setting Is Highly Desirable. Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Unique Needs Of Long-Term Care Patients And Be Able To Provide Compassionate And Effective Care.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Cna-Phlebotomist, Candidates Will Need To Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For Providing Quality Care And Ensuring The Safety Of Patients.

  • Attention To Detail: Drawing Blood Requires Precision And Attention To Detail. Candidates Should Be Able To Carefully Follow Protocols And Accurately Document Patient Information. They Should Also Be Able To Recognize And Report Any Abnormalities Or Issues With Blood Samples.
