  1. Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
  2. Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  3. Monitor and record patients' vital signs, intake and output, and changes in health status.
  4. Assist with mobility and transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other medical equipment.
  5. Administer medications as prescribed by a physician or nurse.
  6. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, following infection control and safety protocols.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, including reporting any changes in patient condition.
  8. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  9. Attend and participate in training and educational opportunities to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
  10. Uphold the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct.
  11. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  13. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  14. Act as an advocate for patients' needs and preferences.
  15. Continuously strive towards providing high-quality care and making a positive impact in the lives of patients.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Cna Must Have A Basic Level Of Education To Understand And Carry Out The Tasks Required In The Role.

  • Completed Cna Training Program: To Become A Cna, One Must Complete A State-Approved Training Program That Covers Essential Topics Such As Patient Care, Infection Control, And Safety Protocols.

  • Current State Certification: In Addition To Completing A Training Program, Cnas Must Also Pass A State Certification Exam To Demonstrate Their Knowledge And Competency.

  • Physical Stamina And Strength: Cnas Are Required To Lift And Move Patients, As Well As Stand For Long Periods Of Time. Therefore, Physical Fitness And Stamina Are Essential For This Role.

  • Compassionate And Patient Demeanor: Cnas Work Closely With Patients Who May Be Ill, Injured, Or Elderly. Therefore, They Must Have A Caring And Empathetic Nature To Provide Emotional Support And Maintain A Positive Attitude.
