  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive food safety program for all facilities within the organization.
  2. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local food safety regulations and guidelines.
  3. Conduct regular inspections and audits of food handling and storage areas to identify and address potential hazards.
  4. Train and educate staff on proper food safety practices and procedures.
  5. Monitor and track food safety training for all employees.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to implement and maintain proper sanitation practices throughout the organization.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external food safety agencies and vendors.
  8. Investigate and document any food safety incidents or violations and take appropriate corrective actions.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to food safety.
  10. Act as a resource for staff and management regarding food safety concerns and questions.
  11. Develop and maintain emergency response plans for food safety incidents.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to food safety compliance.
  13. Conduct regular food safety meetings and trainings for staff.
  14. Ensure proper labeling and storage of food products to prevent cross-contamination.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the organization's food safety program to ensure the highest level of safety and well-being for our residents, patients, and staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Food Safety Regulations: A Cfsm At Pruitthealth Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Food Safety Regulations. They Should Also Stay Up-To-Date On Any Changes Or Updates To These Regulations.

  • Experience In Food Service Industry: Candidates For A Cfsm Job At Pruitthealth Should Have Previous Experience Working In The Food Service Industry, Preferably In A Management Or Supervisory Role. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Food Preparation, Handling, And Storage Techniques.

  • Leadership And Training Skills: As A Cfsm, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Food Service Workers And Ensuring They Are Properly Trained In Food Safety Protocols. Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Others Are Essential Qualifications For This Role.

  • Attention To Detail: A Cfsm Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Potential Food Safety Hazards. They Should Be Able To Conduct Thorough Inspections Of Kitchen Areas And Food Storage Areas To Ensure Compliance With Sanitation And Safety Standards.

  • Certification: A Cfsm Must Hold A Valid Food Safety Certification From An Accredited Organization, Such As Servsafe Or The National Registry Of Food Safety Professionals. This Certification Demonstrates A Deep Understanding Of Food Safety Principles And Best Practices.
