
Assistant Dietary Manager
As an Assistant Dietary Manager at PruittHealth, you will be responsible for helping to ensure that our residents and patients receive nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs. You should be comfortable working collaboratively with other departments and providing guidance to staff members. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Dietary Manager in overseeing the daily meal service operations.
- Ensure meals are prepared according to dietary guidelines and nutritional requirements.
- Monitor food safety and hygiene protocols and ensure they are being adhered to.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and serving techniques.
- Monitor food costs and ensure that the budget is adhered to.
- Work with the kitchen staff to create menus that meet the dietary needs of residents and patients.
- Monitor food inventories and order necessary supplies.
- Ensure that all food service equipment is in good working order.
- Develop and implement systems to ensure quality control and food safety.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure that the dietary needs of residents and patients are being met.
