  1. Perform ultrasound procedures following established protocols and procedures.
  2. Use sound waves to produce images of internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes.
  3. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality of images.
  4. Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and answering any questions.
  5. Position patients to obtain the best images and make necessary adjustments during the procedure.
  6. Evaluate images for quality and accuracy and communicate findings to healthcare providers.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnoses.
  8. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  9. Keep accurate records of procedures and patient information.
  10. Stay up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
  11. Participate in ongoing education and training to improve and maintain technical skills.
  12. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment.
  13. Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients and their families.
  14. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  15. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and patient safety protocols.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field.

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Rdms) Certification.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In An Acute Care Or Hospital Setting.

  • Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting Ultrasound Equipment.
