
Supervisor - Pediatric Rehabilitation Services

- Supervise and lead a team of pediatric rehabilitation professionals, providing guidance, support and mentoring to ensure the delivery of high quality care to young patients.
- Oversee the daily operations of the pediatric rehabilitation services, including scheduling, resource allocation and budget management, to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the pediatric rehabilitation department, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for pediatric patients.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain high standards of care.
- Participate in the recruitment, onboarding and training of new pediatric rehabilitation staff members.
- Act as a liaison between the pediatric rehabilitation department and other departments, communicating and coordinating patient care plans and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements and best practices in pediatric rehabilitation to ensure the department is providing the most current and effective treatments for young patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records of patient care and department activities.
- Uphold the mission, vision and values of Providence St. Joseph Health and promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Physical Therapy, Or Occupational Therapy.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Rehabilitation Services, Preferably In A Supervisory Or Leadership Role.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Guidelines And Accreditation Standards Related To Pediatric Rehabilitation Services.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Therapists And Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals.
Ability To Develop And Implement Strategic Plans For The Growth And Improvement Of Pediatric Rehabilitation Services Within The Organization.
