- Develop and implement strategic plans for philanthropic efforts, in alignment with the organization's mission and values.
- Cultivate relationships with potential donors and maintain strong relationships with current donors.
- Identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities, including major gifts, planned giving, and corporate partnerships.
- Collaborate with other departments and leadership to integrate philanthropy into the overall organization's strategy.
- Oversee all fundraising activities, including events, campaigns, and donor stewardship.
- Monitor and report on fundraising progress and results, providing regular updates to leadership.
- Manage a team of fundraising professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Develop and implement effective donor communication and recognition strategies.
- Utilize data and analytics to inform fundraising strategies and track donor engagement and giving patterns.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in philanthropy and fundraising.
- Represent the organization at external events and networking opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards related to philanthropy and fundraising.
- Serve as a spokesperson for the organization, effectively communicating its mission and impact to donors and the community.
- Collaborate with other departments to promote philanthropic opportunities and engage employees in giving.
- Foster a culture of philanthropy within the organization, promoting a sense of pride and ownership in giving back to the community.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Fundraising And Development, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Non-Profit Setting.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Cultivating And Soliciting Major Gifts, With A Focus On Securing Six And Seven Figure Donations.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Development Professionals, Including Setting Goals, Providing Guidance And Mentorship, And Evaluating Performance.
Extensive Knowledge Of Best Practices In Philanthropy, Including Donor Stewardship, Moves Management, And Gift Acceptance Policies.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With High-Level Donors, Board Members, And Other Key Stakeholders.
