  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive philanthropic strategy for Providence St. Joseph Health.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
  3. Cultivate new donor relationships and steward existing ones to increase philanthropic support.
  4. Work closely with the organization's leadership to align philanthropic goals with overall strategic objectives.
  5. Lead a team of philanthropy professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful fundraising efforts.
  6. Develop and oversee philanthropic budgets and financial plans.
  7. Utilize data and analytics to track progress and make strategic decisions.
  8. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create compelling fundraising materials and campaigns.
  9. Represent the organization at community events and engage with stakeholders to promote philanthropic initiatives.
  10. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in philanthropy and implement innovative strategies to achieve fundraising goals.
  11. Ensure ethical and responsible fundraising practices are followed.
  12. Maintain a deep understanding of the organization's mission, values, and impact to effectively communicate with donors.
  13. Serve as a passionate and effective ambassador for the organization's philanthropic efforts.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve philanthropic processes and programs to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Stay updated on philanthropy laws and regulations and ensure compliance in all fundraising activities.

Job Qualifications
  • At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Philanthropy Or Development, With A Proven Track Record Of Success In Securing Major Gifts And Managing Large Fundraising Campaigns.

  • A Strong Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry And The Unique Challenges And Opportunities It Presents For Philanthropy, Particularly In The Areas Of Patient Care And Community Health.

  • Excellent Leadership And Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Oversee A Team Of Fundraising Professionals And Collaborate With Other Departments And Stakeholders Within The Organization.

  • A Strategic Mindset And The Ability To Develop And Execute Comprehensive Fundraising Plans That Align With The Organization's Mission And Goals.

  • Exceptional Communication And Relationship-Building Skills, With The Ability To Cultivate And Maintain Strong Relationships With Donors, Board Members, And Community Leaders.
