
Registered Nurse - Neuro Critical Care

- Provide specialized care to patients with complex neurological conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare team members.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide feedback for process improvements.
- Attend trainings and continuing education to stay current with advancements in neuro critical care.
- Act as an advocate for patients and their families.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Handle emergency situations with calmness and efficiency.
- Assess and manage pain in patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of infection.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary rounds and provide input for patient care plans.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Act as a resource and mentor for new nursing staff.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.
Valid And Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Neuro Critical Care Or A Related Field.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification.
Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment, With Excellent Critical Thinking And Decision-Making Skills.
