  1. Perform a wide range of plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures on patients, including reconstructive surgeries for trauma, cancer, and congenital defects, as well as cosmetic procedures.
  2. Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their needs and determine the best course of treatment.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including other surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists, to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  4. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and techniques in plastic and reconstructive surgery and incorporate them into practice.
  5. Educate patients on the risks and benefits of various surgical procedures and help them make informed decisions about their care.
  6. Provide compassionate and attentive care to patients, addressing their concerns and ensuring their comfort throughout the surgical process.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation of all procedures performed.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  9. Communicate and collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
  11. Comply with all organizational policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  12. Continuously strive to improve skills and knowledge through professional development opportunities and training.
  13. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by working effectively with colleagues and support staff.
  14. Adhere to ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  15. Represent Providence St. Joseph Health and the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery department in a professional and positive manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Board Certification In Plastic And Reconstructive Surgery From The American Board Of Plastic Surgery. This Certification Ensures That The Surgeon Has Completed Rigorous Training And Has Demonstrated Proficiency In The Field.

  • Extensive Experience In Both Cosmetic And Reconstructive Procedures. Candidates Should Have A Diverse Skill Set And Be Able To Handle Complex Cases With Precision And Attention To Detail.

  • A Strong Commitment To Patient Care And Safety. This Includes Excellent Communication Skills, Empathy, And The Ability To Build Trust And Rapport With Patients.
