  1. Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients with infectious diseases.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution: A Pediatrician-Infectious Disease Specialist At Providence St. Joseph Health Must Have A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Expertise In The Field Of Pediatrics And Infectious Diseases.

  • Board Certification In Pediatrics And Infectious Disease: Candidates Must Be Board Certified In Both Pediatrics And Infectious Disease By The American Board Of Pediatrics, Showcasing Their Advanced Knowledge And Skills In Treating And Managing Pediatric Infectious Diseases.

  • Fellowship Training In Pediatric Infectious Disease: Applicants Should Have Completed A Fellowship Program In Pediatric Infectious Disease, Gaining Extensive Training And Experience In Diagnosing And Treating A Wide Range Of Infectious Diseases In Children.

  • Experience In A Pediatric Hospital Setting: Prior Experience Working In A Pediatric Hospital Setting Is Highly Preferred, As It Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Work With Children And Their Families In A Specialized Healthcare Environment.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Pediatrician-Infectious Disease Specialist, Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building Trust With Patients And Their Families, As Well As Collaborating With Other Healthcare Professionals In The Treatment And Management Of Infectious Diseases.
