We are currently seeking a dependable and empathetic Patient Transporter to join our team.As a Patient Transporter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients as you transport them throughout our facility. Your attention to detail and compassionate demeanor will contribute to the overall patient experience and make a difference in their healing journey.To excel in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.   1. Safely transport patients to and from various locations within the facility, including but not limited to patient rooms, diagnostic areas, and treatment areas.
  2. Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during transportation by providing assistance and support as needed.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient transport logs and records.
  4. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, their families, and healthcare staff to ensure a positive patient experience.
  5. Follow proper infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sanitary environment during patient transport.
  6. Assist in the transfer of patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers using proper body mechanics and lifting techniques.
  7. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including safety regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines.
  8. Monitor and report any changes in patient condition or behavior to the appropriate healthcare personnel.
  9. Utilize basic computer skills to access and update patient information and schedules.
  10. Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and timely patient transport.
  11. Attend regular trainings and meetings to stay updated on hospital policies and procedures.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the hospital's commitment to compassionate and high-quality care.
  13. Provide excellent customer service by responding to patient and family needs and addressing any concerns or complaints in a timely manner.
  14. Take initiative to identify and report any issues or concerns related to patient transport, equipment, or safety hazards.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth to enhance job performance and contribute to the overall success of the team.
