1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to hospitalized patients.
2. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
3. Monitor and manage patients' health conditions, including assessing and diagnosing illnesses, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans.
4. Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding their medical conditions, treatment plans, and any necessary lifestyle changes.
5. Utilize strong clinical knowledge and skills to provide evidence-based and patient-centered care.
6. Adhere to all hospital policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure patient safety and compliance.
7. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records for all patients.
8. Continuously educate and train to stay current with advancements in medical knowledge and technology.
9. Serve as a resource and mentor for other healthcare team members.
10. Collaborate with hospital staff to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
11. Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and ever-changing healthcare environment.
13. Meet productivity standards and participate in performance improvement activities.
14. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and laws related to healthcare.
