- Provide compassionate care to patients undergoing breast surgery.
- Collaborate with team of physicians to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and make appropriate treatment recommendations.
- Administer medications and perform procedures as directed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and follow-up instructions.
- Monitor and manage patient's post-operative recovery, identifying and addressing any potential complications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
- Stay current on advancements and changes in breast surgery practices and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards of practice.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during their breast surgery journey.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and quality of care.
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and continuing education.
Master's Degree In Nursing With A Focus On Nurse Practitioner Studies.
Current Rn And Np Licenses In The State Of Employment.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Surgical Or Breast Care Setting.
Certification As A Nurse Practitioner By A Nationally Recognized Certifying Body, Such As The American Nurses Credentialing Center (Ancc) Or The American Academy Of Nurse Practitioners (Aanp).
Strong Knowledge And Experience In Breast Surgery Procedures, Including Pre And Post-Operative Care, And Management Of Complications.
