- Participating in departmental meetings and providing input on improvements and updates to procedures and protocols.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and equipment maintenance.
- Educating patients and their families on radiation therapy procedures and potential side effects.
- Demonstrating a commitment to patient care and safety by adhering to ethical and professional standards.
- Collaborating with other medical physicists within the organization to share best practices and improve overall patient care.
- Participating in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current in the field of medical physics.
Master's Or Doctoral Degree In Medical Physics Or A Related Field.
Certification By The American Board Of Radiology In Therapeutic Medical Physics.
Minimum Of 2 Years Clinical Experience In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Radiation Safety And Quality Assurance.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Multidisciplinary Team.
