  1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
  2. Schedule appointments for patients with healthcare providers.
  3. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  4. Maintain and update patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
  5. Verify insurance coverage and collect necessary co-pays or payments.
  6. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
  7. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning.
  8. Provide compassionate and empathetic support to patients during check-in and check-out processes.
  9. Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized office environment.
  10. Continuously strive to improve customer service and patient satisfaction.
  11. Adhere to all HIPAA and privacy regulations to protect patient information.
  12. Attend trainings and meetings to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
  13. Handle any patient complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate to the appropriate supervisor if necessary.
  14. Demonstrate a positive and helpful attitude towards patients, visitors, and colleagues.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the overall functioning of the medical office.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Medical Office Representative Should Have A Minimum Education Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Shows A Basic Level Of Education And Understanding Of General Subjects.
