• Conduct regular maintenance and repair of medical equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions and industry standards
• Perform preventative maintenance on medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and thoroughly in accordance with department procedures
• Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols while performing maintenance and repairs
• Collaborate with clinical staff to identify equipment needs and provide technical support and training as needed
• Maintain inventory of equipment parts and supplies and order replacements as necessary
• Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and changes in technology to continuously improve maintenance procedures and techniques
• Adhere to department budget and maintain cost-effective practices while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide emergency maintenance and repair services outside of regular business hours when necessary.
