  1. Manage and oversee all aspects of video equipment used in surgical procedures within the Surgical Services department.
  2. Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of all video equipment, including regular inspections and troubleshooting.
  3. Collaborate with surgical teams to understand their video equipment needs and provide solutions to enhance their procedures.
  4. Develop and implement protocols for the safe and efficient use of video equipment during surgical procedures.
  5. Train and educate surgical staff on the proper use and care of video equipment.
  6. Stay current with advancements in healthcare technology and make recommendations for the acquisition of new equipment.
  7. Maintain inventory of video equipment, including tracking usage and repairs.
  8. Manage budget for video equipment and make cost-effective decisions regarding repairs and replacements.
  9. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards related to video equipment usage.
  10. Supervise a team of video equipment technicians and provide guidance and support as needed.
  11. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate the use of video equipment for multi-disciplinary procedures.
  12. Communicate with vendors and service providers to schedule repairs and maintenance for video equipment.
  13. Monitor and report on the performance of video equipment, including identifying and addressing any issues or concerns.
  14. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to video equipment usage, repairs, and maintenance.
  15. Act as a liaison between the Surgical Services department and the IT department for any technology-related issues.
  16. Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures related to video equipment to ensure the highest level of efficiency and quality of care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Technology Management, Or Video Production.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Managing Video Equipment In A Surgical Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Surgical Procedures And Equipment, Including Endoscopes, Cameras, And Monitors.

  • Strong Technical Skills And Understanding Of Video Equipment Technology, Including Troubleshooting And Maintenance.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Coordinate With Surgical Staff And Other Healthcare Professionals.
