- Develop and implement community health initiatives that align with the mission of Providence St. Joseph Health.
- Identify and assess community health needs through research, data analysis, and community engagement.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement effective community health programs and initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of community health programs, making necessary adjustments to ensure goals are met.
- Manage all aspects of program budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
- Lead and supervise a team of community health professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, government agencies, and other organizations to leverage resources and support for community health initiatives.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to community health and apply this knowledge to program development and management.
- Represent Providence St. Joseph Health at community events, conferences, and meetings to promote community health initiatives and build partnerships.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop effective messaging and promotional materials for community health programs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies related to community health programs.
- Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans for community health investment and program growth.
- Serve as a spokesperson for community health programs, advocating for the needs of underserved and vulnerable populations.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of program activities, outcomes, and impact for reporting and accountability purposes.
- Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the community health programs and the organization as a whole.
Bachelor's Degree In Public Health Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Public Health Or A Related Field Is Required For This Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Community Health Principles And Practices.
Experience In Community Health Programs: Previous Experience In Managing Or Coordinating Community Health Programs Is Essential For This Role. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing And Evaluating Community Health Initiatives.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Systems And Policies: A Thorough Understanding Of Healthcare Systems And Policies Is Crucial For This Position. This Includes Knowledge Of Public Health Regulations, Funding Mechanisms, And Health Disparities.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Manager Of Community Health Investment Programs Will Be Working With Various Stakeholders, Including Community Leaders, Healthcare Providers, And Government Agencies.
