LPN LVN - Urology

1. Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to urology patients.
2. Collaborate with urologists and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
4. Monitor and document patient’s condition and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare team members.
5. Educate and support patients and their families about urology procedures, treatments, and medications.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medication administration, and treatment plans.
7. Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
8. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop individualized treatment plans.
9. Continuously update knowledge and skills through training, workshops, and self-study to provide the best quality of care to patients.
10. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and professionalism when interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
11. Adhere to all legal, ethical, and professional standards of practice.
12. Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy.
13. Maintain a positive and respectful work environment and contribute to a cohesive and collaborative team dynamic.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team or supervisor.
