Job Description

As a Lead Electrician for Providence St. Joseph Health's Facilities Management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of our healthcare facilities. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced electrician to oversee our electrical maintenance and repair operations. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician and possess a valid electrician's license.   1. Oversee all electrical maintenance and repair operations for Providence St. Joseph Health's healthcare facilities.
  2. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, including OSHA and NFPA codes.
  3. Manage and lead a team of electricians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  4. Regularly inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment to identify and resolve any issues.
  5. Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality of electrical systems.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate and prioritize electrical maintenance and repair projects.
  7. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including work orders and inventory.
  8. Train and mentor junior electricians, ensuring their skills and knowledge are up to date.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth and timely completion of projects.
  10. Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of electrical systems, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
  11. Keep up to date with industry developments and advancements in electrical technology.
  12. Conduct regular safety training for team members and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
  13. Represent the Facilities Management team in meetings and discussions related to electrical systems and operations.
  14. Collaborate with external contractors and vendors as needed.
  15. Uphold the mission and values of Providence St. Joseph Health in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
