  1. Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and community partners to promote and enhance the services offered by Providence St. Joseph Health.
  2. Lead a team of clinical liaisons and provide guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.
  3. Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
  4. Serve as a point of contact for healthcare providers and community partners, addressing any concerns and providing timely updates on patient care.
  5. Conduct regular training and education sessions for clinical liaisons to ensure they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively perform their roles.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the clinical liaison team, providing feedback and implementing improvements as needed.
  7. Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring that patient needs and preferences are communicated and addressed.
  8. Participate in the development and implementation of strategies to promote patient satisfaction and enhance the patient experience.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for improvement to leadership.
  10. Foster a culture of compassion, empathy, and excellence within the clinical liaison team and the organization as a whole.

Job Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (Rn) License: The Successful Candidate For This Role Must Hold A Current Rn License In The State Where They Will Be Working. This Ensures That They Have Met The Required Education And Training Standards To Provide Clinical Care And Can Legally Practice As A Nurse.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Typically Required For A Lead Clinical Liaison Position. This Provides The Necessary Theoretical Knowledge And Practical Skills Needed To Effectively Oversee And Coordinate Clinical Activities.

  • Clinical Experience: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Healthcare Setting. This Experience Should Include Direct Patient Care, As Well As Experience In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Lead Clinical Liaison, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Various Healthcare Professionals, Including Physicians, Nurses, And Other Staff Members. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Effectively Collaborate And Build Relationships.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance: This Position Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance Standards. The Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience With Healthcare Quality Improvement Initiatives, As Well As Knowledge Of Accrediting Bodies Such As The Joint Commission And Centers For Medicare And Medicaid Services (Cms).
