We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled EEG Technician to join our team in the Sleep Laboratory.   1. Perform EEG tests: Conduct EEG tests on patients to diagnose and monitor sleep disorders.
  2. Maintain equipment: Ensure all EEG equipment is properly functioning and maintained according to industry standards.
  3. Patient care: Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients during EEG tests and assist with any needs or concerns they may have.
  4. Record and analyze data: Accurately record and analyze EEG data to assist in diagnosing and monitoring sleep disorders.
  5. Communicate with medical team: Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient results and develop treatment plans.
  6. Follow safety protocols: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  7. Educate patients: Educate patients on the EEG testing process and answer any questions they may have about the procedure.
  8. Maintain patient confidentiality: Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times and follow HIPAA regulations.
  9. Stay current with industry developments: Continuously stay updated on new developments and advancements in EEG technology and techniques.
  10. Self-motivated: Independently manage workload and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient and timely completion of all EEG tests.
  11. Attention to detail: Pay close attention to detail to accurately record and analyze EEG data.
  12. Passion for helping others: Demonstrate a genuine passion for helping others and making a positive impact on patients' lives.
  13. Required qualifications: Possess the necessary qualifications and certifications to perform EEG tests, including a high school diploma and certification from an accredited EEG program.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification: A Qualified Eeg Technician Should Have A Certification From The American Board Of Registration Of Electroencephalographic And Evoked Potential Technologists (Abret), Demonstrating Expertise In Performing And Interpreting Eeg Tests.

  • Experience: Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Performing Eeg Tests In A Clinical Setting Is Required For This Role. Experience In Sleep Laboratory Is Preferred.

  • Knowledge Of Equipment: Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting Various Types Of Eeg Equipment, Including Digital Eeg Systems And Sleep Monitoring Devices, Is Essential For This Job.

  • Attention To Detail: As Eeg Tests Require Precise Placement Of Electrodes And Recording Of Brain Activity, Attention To Detail And Accuracy Are Crucial Qualifications For An Eeg Technician.

  • Communication Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Important In This Role, As Eeg Technicians Often Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team To Interpret Test Results And Provide Patient Care Recommendations.
