- Troubleshoot technical issues with equipment and make necessary adjustments or repairs.

Formal Education And Training: A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Sonography Or A Related Field, As Well As Specialized Training In Echocardiography, Is Required For This Role. Candidates Should Also Possess Active Certification In Echocardiography From A Recognized Accrediting Body.
Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy And Physiology: Echocardiograph Technologists Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Structure And Function Of The Heart, As Well As The Ability To Identify And Analyze Abnormalities Or Diseases Using Ultrasound Technology.
Proficiency In Operating Echocardiography Equipment: Candidates Should Have Experience And Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Echocardiography Equipment, Including 2D And 3D Ultrasound Machines, As Well As The Ability To Troubleshoot Technical Issues.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Echocardiograph Technologists Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
