
Early Childhood Teacher

- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children between the ages of 2-5.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons that align with the center's curriculum and philosophy.
- Observe and assess children's development and progress, and communicate this information to parents or guardians.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all children feel valued and supported.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and effective educational program.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom and materials.
- Ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of each child in your care.
- Continuously seek out professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills as an early childhood teacher.
- Adhere to all state and federal laws and regulations, as well as the center's policies and procedures.
- Serve as a positive role model for children and colleagues, demonstrating patience, kindness, and respect at all times.
- Remain flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the children and the center.
- Foster a love for learning and curiosity in young children.
- Provide guidance and support to children as they learn and navigate social interactions and relationships.
- Collaborate with families to create a strong home-school connection and support each child's individual needs and goals.
Bachelor's Degree In Early Childhood Education Or A Related Field.
State-Issued Teaching License Or Certification.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working With Young Children In A Classroom Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Developmentally Appropriate Practices For Early Childhood Education.
Ability To Create And Implement Lesson Plans That Promote Social, Emotional, Cognitive, And Physical Development In Young Children.
