  1. Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and lesson plans for young children.
  2. Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
  3. Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
  4. Observe, assess, and document children's progress and development.
  5. Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure a cohesive learning experience for children.
  6. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about their child's development and progress.
  7. Ensure that all activities and materials meet health and safety standards.
  8. Continuously engage in professional development and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
  9. Participate in team meetings, staff trainings, and school events.
  10. Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers and aides.
  11. Foster a love for learning and promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in children.
  12. Maintain accurate records and reports as required by the school or licensing agency.
  13. Adhere to the school's policies and procedures.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
  15. Act as a positive role model for children and uphold high ethical standards.
  16. Attend to the individual needs of each child, including physical, emotional, and educational needs.
  17. Participate in parent-teacher conferences and provide ongoing communication with families.
  18. Handle any behavioral or disciplinary issues in a professional and constructive manner.
  19. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to early childhood education.
  20. Continuously evaluate and improve teaching practices to meet the needs of all children in the classroom.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Early Childhood Education Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working With Young Children In A Classroom Setting

  • State Certification And/Or Licensure In Early Childhood Education

  • Knowledge Of Child Development And Early Childhood Education Curriculum
