- Plan and coordinate all aspects of Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs and activities for medical staff, including conferences, workshops, webinars, and seminars.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and subject matter experts to develop educational content and ensure that it aligns with our organization's goals and objectives.
- Manage the CME budget, including tracking expenses and negotiating contracts with vendors and venues.
- Maintain accurate records of CME activities, including attendance and evaluations, and ensure compliance with all accreditation and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and distribute promotional materials, such as brochures and emails, to promote CME events and increase attendance.
- Communicate regularly with medical staff to identify their educational needs and preferences and incorporate their feedback into future CME offerings.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in healthcare education and incorporate them into CME programs.
- Serve as a liaison between our organization and external accrediting bodies, ensuring that all CME activities meet their standards and requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to CME presenters and faculty, including assisting with presentation materials and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of CME activities through surveys, data analysis, and other methods, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards when handling sensitive information related to CME activities.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams within our organization to identify opportunities for collaboration and cross-promotion of CME activities.
- Keep detailed records of CME participation and credits earned by medical staff for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Continuously seek out new and innovative ways to enhance CME offerings and improve the overall educational experience for medical staff.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Providence St. Joseph Health and act as a positive representative of the organization at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Education, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Coordinating And Managing Continuing Medical Education (Cme) Programs.
Knowledge Of Cme Accreditation Standards And Regulations, Including Accme, Ama, And Aafp.
Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Deadlines.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders Such As Physicians, Administrators, And External Vendors.
