  1. Conduct and assist with all aspects of clinical research studies related to cancer treatment, including patient recruitment, data collection, and protocol adherence.
  2. Collaborate with the research team and healthcare providers to ensure the proper implementation and execution of research protocols.
  3. Monitor and document patient responses to treatments, adverse reactions, and any other significant findings for ongoing data analysis.
  4. Educate and inform patients and their families about the research study, including potential risks and benefits, and obtain informed consent.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all research activities, including patient records, study documents, and regulatory documents.
  6. Participate in the development of research protocols and other study-related materials, such as informed consent forms and case report forms.
  7. Assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory documents to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and individualized care to research participants.
  9. Participate in data analysis and presentation of research findings to contribute to the advancement of cancer treatment.
  10. Keep current with industry trends and advancements in cancer research to continuously improve and enhance research protocols and processes.
  11. Serve as a resource and mentor to other staff members, providing guidance and support on research-related matters.
  12. Adhere to ethical and safety standards in all research activities, ensuring the well-being and rights of research participants are protected.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and privacy of all research participants and data in accordance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize research processes and ensure the highest level of patient care.
  15. Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills in clinical research and cancer treatment.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Rn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid Registered Nurse License In The State Where The Position Is Located.

  • Oncology Certification: The Candidate Should Have A Current Certification In Oncology Nursing (Ocn) Or A Similar Specialty Certification.

  • Clinical Research Experience: The Candidate Must Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Research Setting, Preferably In Oncology Research.

  • Knowledge Of Research Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Research Regulations And Standards, Including Good Clinical Practice (Gcp) And Institutional Review Board (Irb) Requirements.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Effectively Work With Multidisciplinary Teams, Patients, And Their Families.
