• Conduct and coordinate cancer research studies, including recruiting and enrolling eligible patients, collecting and organizing data, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals involved in the research
• Provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals participating in cancer research studies, including administering treatments, monitoring patient progress, and addressing any concerns or complications that may arise
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the successful implementation and execution of cancer research studies
• Maintain and update accurate and detailed records of all research activities, including patient data, study protocols, and regulatory documents, in accordance with institutional and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in the development and implementation of new research protocols and procedures, and assist with obtaining necessary approvals and permissions from regulatory bodies
• Stay current with advancements and developments in cancer research, and incorporate new knowledge and best practices into the research process
• Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring that all research activities are conducted in an ethical and compassionate manner and that patient rights and safety are prioritized at all times
• Act as a liaison between patients, their families, and healthcare providers, providing education and support on the research process and addressing any questions or concerns that may arise
• Attend and participate in research team meetings, conferences, and educational opportunities to stay updated on progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement in cancer research
• Continuously evaluate and improve research processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in achieving research goals and objectives.
