
Clinical Nurse Specialist - Perinatal Unit

- Provide expert care and support to women and families during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum periods.
- Utilize advanced knowledge and skills in perinatal care to assess, diagnose, and treat patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on perinatal care, procedures, and postpartum recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for other nurses and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects related to perinatal care.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
- Continuously stay updated on advancements and best practices in perinatal care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and respect towards patients and their families.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of care.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings and trainings as required.
- Collaborate with community organizations to promote perinatal health and education.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines.
- Complete all required documentation and reporting accurately and in a timely manner.
- Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and customer service.
Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment.
Master's Degree In Nursing With A Focus On Perinatal Care.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Perinatal Nursing, Preferably In A Leadership Or Advanced Practice Role.
Certification As A Clinical Nurse Specialist In Perinatal Care From A Recognized Accrediting Organization.
Strong Clinical Knowledge And Expertise In Perinatal Care, Including High-Risk Pregnancies, Labor And Delivery, And Postpartum Care.
