- Provide expert clinical care to pregnant and postpartum patients, ensuring the highest level of safety and quality.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, providing guidance and support in the delivery of perinatal care.
- Develop and implement evidence-based protocols and procedures to improve patient outcomes and promote best practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on perinatal care, including childbirth preparation, postpartum care, and infant care.
- Monitor and assess patient progress, identifying any potential complications and providing timely interventions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of perinatal care.
- Stay up-to-date on current trends and research in perinatal care, incorporating new knowledge into practice.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous learning within the perinatal unit.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, adhering to all regulatory and organizational standards.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and preferences are respected and met.
- Conduct research and participate in scholarly activities to contribute to the advancement of perinatal care.
- Collaborate with community organizations and resources to provide comprehensive care and support for pregnant and postpartum patients.

Master's Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Perinatal Care.
Current Rn License In The State Of Practice.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Clinical Nursing Experience In Perinatal Or Obstetrics Specialty.
Certification As A Clinical Nurse Specialist (Cns) In Perinatal Or Obstetrics Care.
Strong Clinical Skills And Knowledge In Perinatal Care, Including High-Risk Pregnancies, Neonatal Care, And Postpartum Care.
