As a Clinical Informatics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our healthcare technology systems and processes to enhance patient outcomes and improve overall efficiency.   1. Develop and implement informatics strategies and initiatives to improve the use of technology in healthcare delivery.
  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address informatics-related issues and opportunities for improvement.
  3. Conduct in-depth analysis of clinical and operational workflows to identify areas for enhancement and optimization.
  4. Serve as a subject matter expert on healthcare technology systems and processes, providing guidance and support to clinical staff and leadership.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of informatics initiatives and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  6. Stay current on industry trends and advancements in healthcare technology, and make recommendations for adoption of new systems or processes.
  7. Train and educate staff on the use of healthcare technology systems and processes, ensuring proper utilization and adherence to best practices.
  8. Participate in the development and implementation of clinical decision support tools to improve patient care and outcomes.
  9. Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to healthcare technology systems.
  10. Act as a liaison between clinical staff and IT teams to facilitate effective communication and understanding of informatics initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Nursing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Clinical Informatics Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Certification In Clinical Informatics, Such As The Certified Health Informatics Systems Professional (Chisp) Or Certified Professional In Healthcare Information And Management Systems (Cphims).

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Information Systems, Including Electronic Health Records (Ehrs), Clinical Decision Support Systems, And Data Analytics.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Healthcare Professionals And Effectively Train And Educate Staff On Informatics Systems And Processes.
