
Certified Nurse Midwife

- Provide compassionate and evidence-based care to women and their families throughout their lifespan.
- Perform all duties within the scope of practice of a Certified Nurse Midwife, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and well-woman care.
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and identify potential health problems.
- Educate and counsel women on topics such as nutrition, childbirth, breastfeeding, and family planning.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Attend continuing education programs and stay current on evidence-based practices in midwifery and women's health.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills in interacting with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.

- Maintain licensure and certification requirements, including continuing education and professional development.
- Serve as a resource and advocate for women's health and midwifery within the community.

- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to patient needs in a timely and efficient manner.
A Valid And Current Nurse Midwife Certification From The American Midwifery Certification Board (Amcb).
A Minimum Of Two Years Of Clinical Experience As A Certified Nurse Midwife.
A Master Of Science In Nursing (Msn) Or Doctor Of Nursing Practice (Dnp) Degree From An Accredited Institution.
Current Licensure As A Registered Nurse (Rn) In The State Where The Job Is Located.
Knowledge And Experience In Providing Comprehensive Prenatal, Labor And Delivery, And Postpartum Care To Women And Infants.
