  1. Answer incoming calls from patients and healthcare providers in a courteous and professional manner.
  2. Provide information and assistance to callers regarding appointments, services, and general inquiries.
  3. Schedule and confirm patient appointments accurately and efficiently.
  4. Utilize computer systems to access patient information and update records.
  5. Resolve patient complaints and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  6. Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  8. Maintain a positive and customer-focused attitude at all times.
  9. Continuously strive to improve call center processes and procedures.
  10. Attend training and development programs to stay updated on healthcare practices and procedures.
  11. Meet and exceed individual and team performance goals.
  12. Adhere to call center metrics and standards, including call quality and average handle time.
  13. Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor.
  14. Uphold the mission and values of Providence St. Joseph Health in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
  15. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to data protection policies.
  16. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the organization's services, procedures, and policies.
  17. Provide feedback and suggestions for improving patient satisfaction and overall call center performance.
  18. Proactively identify and escalate any issues or concerns to the appropriate department for resolution.
  19. Remain updated on insurance and billing procedures to assist patients with inquiries.
  20. Maintain a positive and supportive working relationship with team members and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills: A Call Center Representative At Providence St. Joseph Health Must Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills In Order To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Team Members.
