  1. Perform regular maintenance and repair of medical equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.
  2. Conduct routine inspections and calibrations of equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  3. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, and develop solutions to resolve them in a timely manner.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to understand their equipment needs and provide technical support.
  5. Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
  6. Stay up-to-date on advancements in biomedical technology and implement new processes or procedures as needed.
  7. Ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained in a clean and safe environment.
  8. Provide training and support to other staff members on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  9. Communicate effectively with manufacturers for technical support and warranty claims.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to minimize risk to patients and staff.
  11. Maintain inventory of equipment parts and supplies, and order replacements as needed.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  13. Attend meetings and trainings to stay informed on new policies, procedures, and equipment.
  14. Demonstrate a commitment to our organization's mission, values, and standards of behavior.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Biomedical Engineering Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Healthcare Setting As A Biomedical Technician

  • Comprehensive Knowledge Of Medical Equipment And Technology

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills

  • Familiarity With Regulatory Standards And Guidelines, Such As Joint Commission And Fda Regulations
