- Perform regular maintenance and repair of medical equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.
- Conduct routine inspections and calibrations of equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, and develop solutions to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to understand their equipment needs and provide technical support.
- Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in biomedical technology and implement new processes or procedures as needed.
- Ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained in a clean and safe environment.
- Provide training and support to other staff members on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Communicate effectively with manufacturers for technical support and warranty claims.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to minimize risk to patients and staff.
- Maintain inventory of equipment parts and supplies, and order replacements as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Attend meetings and trainings to stay informed on new policies, procedures, and equipment.

Bachelor's Degree In Biomedical Engineering Or Related Field
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Healthcare Setting As A Biomedical Technician
Comprehensive Knowledge Of Medical Equipment And Technology
Strong Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills
Familiarity With Regulatory Standards And Guidelines, Such As Joint Commission And Fda Regulations
