- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the acute care unit, ensuring that all patient care needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Utilize clinical expertise to assess and prioritize patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
- Act as a role model and mentor to fellow nurses, offering support and guidance to enhance their skills and promote professional growth.
- Maintain open and effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and promote a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures related to patient care and safety.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in acute care nursing, and incorporate them into daily practice to promote excellence in patient care.
- Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and management, communicating concerns, suggestions, and feedback to promote a positive and supportive work environment.
Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In An Acute Care Setting
Bsn Or Higher Degree In Nursing
Previous Charge Nurse Or Leadership Experience Preferred
Acls And Bls Certifications Required, With Additional Certifications Such As Pals And Tncc Preferred.
