Sourcing Manager

The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing plans and initiatives, driving cost savings and productivity improvements, and creating a competitive advantage for ProQuest.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of global sourcing and a passion for delivering results in a fast-paced environment. They should have a “big-picture” perspective, yet be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks. The successful Sourcing Manager will be a strategic thinker and have a proven track record of developing and executing successful global sourcing plans.Ideal qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; 7+ years of progressive experience in global sourcing; experience developing and executing global sourcing strategies; and a thorough understanding of the global marketplace.
