  1. Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure high-quality and reliable products.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks and career development.
  3. Oversee the testing process for all software products, including creating test plans, executing test cases, and identifying and resolving complex issues.
  4. Utilize strong analytical skills to identify potential areas of improvement within the QA process and recommend solutions.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure that quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in QA practices, and implement innovative techniques to enhance the overall quality of our products.
  7. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on QA progress, issues, and resolutions.
  8. Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of the QA team's performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  9. Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards for quality assurance.
  10. Continuously strive for process improvement and efficiency to enhance the overall productivity of the QA team.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Quality Assurance And Testing: The Senior Lead Quality Assurance Engineer At Proquest Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Quality Assurance, With A Strong Understanding Of Testing Methodologies And Tools.

  • Leadership And Team Management Skills: The Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Quality Assurance Engineers, Ensuring That Projects Are Completed On Time And To The Highest Standard.

  • Strong Technical Background: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Software Development Processes, Programming Languages, And Database Management Systems, As Well As Experience With Automated Testing Tools.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Senior Lead Quality Assurance Engineer Will Need To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Developers, Product Managers, And Project Managers, To Ensure That Quality Standards Are Met.

  • Quality Assurance Certifications: Proquest Values Continuous Learning And Development, And Thus, A Candidate With Relevant Quality Assurance Certifications Such As Istqb Or Cste Would Be Preferred.
