- Manage and organize intellectual property assets for clients, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
- Perform docketing activities, including tracking deadlines, managing documents and correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis on intellectual property laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Communicate with clients and internal teams to provide updates on the status of intellectual property assets and answer any related questions.
- Collaborate with patent attorneys and agents to assist in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications.
- Utilize docketing software and other tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of intellectual property assets.
- Develop and maintain processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective docketing operations.
- Stay up-to-date on changes and updates in intellectual property laws and regulations.
- Provide training and support to junior docketing staff.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and suggestions for improving docketing processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned by management.
Bachelor's Degree In Intellectual Property Law, Information Science, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Docketing And Managing Patent And Trademark Portfolios.
Proficiency In Docketing Software And Experience With Patent And Trademark Databases.
Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
Strong Attention To Detail And Accuracy, With A Thorough Understanding Of Patent And Trademark Rules And Procedures.
