  1. Manage and grow academic accounts on the West Coast region, achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their main point of contact and building trust and loyalty.
  3. Understand clients' needs and provide them with tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  4. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance and support to help them achieve their academic goals.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to effectively advise and consult clients.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services to clients.
  7. Conduct regular account reviews and identify opportunities for growth and upselling.
  8. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients through networking and prospecting.
  9. Prepare and present sales proposals and negotiate contracts with clients.
  10. Provide timely and accurate sales reports and forecasts to management.
  11. Attend industry conferences and events to represent ProQuest and network with potential clients.
  12. Continuously improve product knowledge and sales skills through training and professional development opportunities.
  13. Demonstrate exceptional customer service by promptly addressing and resolving any client concerns or issues.
  14. Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
  15. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement strategies to improve overall client satisfaction and retention.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Sales Or Account Management Role Within The Academic Publishing Industry.

  • Demonstrated Success In Achieving And Exceeding Sales Targets And Building Strong Client Relationships.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Information To Diverse Audiences.

  • Knowledge Of Academic Publishing Trends And The Ability To Identify And Capitalize On New Business Opportunities.
