4. Design and implement data quality processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity of data.
5. Develop and maintain data governance standards and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
6. Identify and troubleshoot data governance issues, and provide timely and effective solutions.
7. Act as a subject matter expert on data governance principles and best practices, and provide guidance and training to team members and stakeholders.
8. Monitor and report on data governance metrics and KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners.
10. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data governance and master data management, and make recommendations for implementing new tools and technologies.
11. Participate in data governance and master data management strategy development and contribute to the overall business goals of the organization.
12. Serve as a mentor and coach to junior business analysts, and provide guidance and support as needed.
13. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the data governance function.
14. Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements and objectives.
15. Work closely with data stewards and data owners to define and maintain data standards and data quality rules.
16. Collaborate with data governance team members to develop and maintain data governance documentation, including policies, procedures, and standards.
17. Participate in data governance audits and assessments, and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
18. Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of data governance processes and make recommendations for improvement.
