
Implementation Consultant

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation process, ensuring a smooth and successful transition to ProQuest's products and services.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments with clients to understand their research needs and develop customized solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and technical support, to ensure a seamless implementation process for clients.
- Train clients on the use of ProQuest's products and services, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
- Act as a subject matter expert on ProQuest's products and services, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their satisfaction with ProQuest's solutions.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues or roadblocks during the implementation process, finding creative solutions to ensure a successful outcome.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the implementation process, identifying areas for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Represent ProQuest at conferences, industry events, and client meetings to promote our products and services and build relationships with potential clients.
- Mentor and train new team members on ProQuest's implementation processes and best practices.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all client interactions, project progress, and any issues or concerns that arise during the implementation process.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Clients And Internal Teams.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Consulting Or Implementation Role, Preferably In The Technology Or Library Industry.
Strong Project Management Skills And Ability To Handle Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Proquest Products And Services, As Well As A Thorough Understanding Of The Library Industry And Its Trends.
