Hello, my name is Waleed Iqbal. I was born in Maryland and currently reside in the vibrant city of Ellicott City. Being a Baltimore native, my love for the Baltimore Ravens runs deep, and watching their games on Sundays has become a cherished part of my life. Family and friends are invaluable to me, and spending quality time with them brings me immense joy.

Nature has a special place in my heart, and I make it a priority to immerse myself in its beauty as often as possible. Whether it's working out or embarking on a scenic hike, I find solace and inspiration in the great outdoors.

Lately, I have developed a keen interest in podcasts, particularly those centered around ancient history and computers. It was during my sophomore year of college that I made a life-changing decision to switch from engineering to computer science, despite having no prior coding experience or knowledge of how computers functioned. Fast forward a couple of years, and I have successfully surpassed the challenges of my gateway classes, achieving remarkable grades in my recent semester's 400-level computer science courses.

I am deeply committed to personal growth and continuously strive to enhance my skills and apply them to my daily life. Growing up in a lively and humorous household has instilled in me a drive for productivity. I am always on the lookout for fresh challenges and new paths that will propel me forward as an aspiring computer scientist and as a better individual.
