I am a Data Science enthusiast looking for opportunities for Summer Internships. With a work experience of 2+ years at HSBC Software Development, I am currently pursuing MS in Business Analytics at University of Michigan - Dearborn.

As part of my coursework we had classes like Data Mining, Business Intelligence, Applied Timeseries Forecasting, which predominantly teach about analytics and building predictive models. I have done 2 academic projects on R in which I have built predictive models based on Regression, Naive Bayes, KNN, Decision Trees. I have also worked on Support Vector Machines, Clustering, Neural Networks as part of my curriculum. Also, I have done handful of work on Tableau for data visualizations for the academic projects.

I have studied extensively various Programming concepts and worked on various Programming languages like C, C++, Java. We also had classes for Database Management, Probability Statistics and the like.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University

Developed a comprehensive 5-year energy savings plan, as part of a team, by identifying the areas of energy savings on campus with an aim to reduce the carbon footprint of the campus for a sustainable future. 
Specifically dealt with Outreach and Awareness Policies, brainstormed ideas that could potentially be implemented by the university to send across the message in a way that the stakeholders understand the gravity of the situation.

Developing standalone and web applications with Java, ReactJS, working on complex SQL queries. 
Had opportunity to work on Machine Learning algorithms - Regression Analysis, using R and Python. Successfully built and increased the accuracy of fraud detection models.
