I have a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science and will soon
complete my Masters in Data Mining and Predictive Analytics in
December. I believe my education has provided me with extensive
knowledge of cleaning data and creating visualizations using Python, R,
and JavaScript. The libraries that I used alongside these languages were
Pandas, Matplotlib, Tensor, ggplot, and D3. To create dynamic
visualizations and dashboards, alongside the libraries listed, I often used
PowerBI. I was also taught how to scrape web pages using the beautiful
soup library with Python.
In my previous role at Nassau BOCES, I created in house web
applications to automate various tasks and created newer web
applications of older applications for day to day operations. During my
time with the company I had the opportunity to learn C#, in particular,
the Asp.net framework. This allowed me to learn a way to build powerful
web applications that made working with large amounts of data simple.
Our company relied on all Microsoft products and our relational
database management system was Microsoft SQL Server. Both
academically and professionally I have written many SQL queries and
stored procedures, and using the .net framework and JQuery I was able
to build multiple applications that worked with thousands of rows of
data and hundreds of tables.

Focus on using the R and Python programming languages to clean, analyze, and look for patterns and trends within data sets.
Wrote data mining algorithms such as Clustering Algorithms, Decision Trees, Classification, etc
