My name is Ryan Duffy, a graduate from Springfield College class of 2020. Even thought graduating during COVID-19, that hasn't stopped me from applying to what I went to school for (Communications/Sports Journalism). I have bounced around from job to job, but during those times, i have learned new skills and have used them in my daily personal life. I am a hard-worker and a fast learner and ready to use those skills towards the next job that I find.

Utilized safety practices with no complaints or accidents. Kept detailed records of field measurements and data. Performed troubleshooting and diagnostics of malfunctioning equipment, machinery, tools, and components. Responsible for swapping out batteries to particular stands on site

Field Technician

Acted as the second go to guy behind the head coach. Taught wrestlers new skills and moves (all in a safe manner). Made sure matches were set-up correctly before the match begins. In charge of making sure every wrestler was accounted for during days of tournaments, whether it be on the bus ride to and back or when certain wrestlers had matches coming up.

Quickly responded to internal service calls regarding malfunctioning equipment and completed repairs. Other work required involved garbage removal and daily cleaning of building grounds

Building Maintenance

Completed finishing work such as smoothing out and leveling poured concrete for residential and commercial construction sites. Inspected detail work for adequacy and spread concrete into corners and small areas of forms using hand tools.
Inspected and patched holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound. Maintained clean, safe worksite for team safety and to help keep projects on-track.

Wrote and edited high-quality content and visually impactful programs under deadline pressure with an exciting, captivating, and authentic approach. Utilized exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills to produce engaging and error-free content. Completed thorough research into assigned topics. Assembled game notes and statistics to use for post-game articles. Game statistics were used for reports and social media (Twitter) for the audience.
