My role and responsibilities included developing and executing strategies for communicating, brand building and seeking new opportunities as part of a senior management team, here in the United States, and Guyana (South America). This involved communicating and building relationships with the community and other groups and organizations. Marketing expertise was provided to team members. The use of data was essential in crafting strategies.

Director Of Marketing

My responsibilities included the diverse roles of marketing, sales, and quality management thus employing many varied skills and expertise to achieve company goals. The sales team was monitored for visits, sales and discounts. Brand plans and budgets were developed and implemented to achieve objectives. Quality management included organizing quality management meetings with senior management and other relevant team members, inclusive of warehousing. Daily activities involved communicating and collaborating with both overseas and local stakeholders. These included key pharmaceutical companies, supermarkets, pharmacies and other HCPs.

Sales Manager - Trade

Built product and service portfolios. Customer service and problem solving. As a pharmacist, dispensed prescriptions, provided patient counseling and communicated with other HCPs for best outcome of the patient.

Detail visits to all relevant HCPs. Although the role entailed working as part of a local and regional teams, the ability to work independently was required.
