In my current position, I have demonstrated proficiency in planning, organizing, and leading comprehensive support initiatives for at-risk students, overseeing a team of 15 and fostering collaborations with various campus services. My skills include team leadership, performance evaluation, and the ability to create and implement operational standards, policies, and procedures. As the Director of Housing and Residence Life at the University of Washington, Tacoma, I successfully developed infrastructure inclusive of learning outcomes, intervention procedures, and program evaluations, showcasing my skills in program development and evaluation. Additionally, my experience in advising and guiding students in various academic settings, such as the Provost’s Scholars Program and the Viterbi School of Engineering, reflects my expertise in academic support, curricular guidance, and building partnerships. My commitment to social justice programming and community engagement, demonstrated in the creation of intentional programming and Living Learning Communities, further highlights my skills in enhancing student support and fostering collaboration.
