My name is Raheel. I am fond of all aspects of games whether that be playing, breaking, or coding them, I have also trained other people in the art of QA and they are achieving success in their own right.

Despite the major focus being on coding, this degree touched on all aspects of creating video games, including:

There was a big focus on forming groups and creating games, a few of which are on my portfolio.

I am responsible for signing off that any changes pushed to our live website + aggregators (such as DoorDash) are bug-free, working as intended, and fitting requirements set by the legal and marketing departments.
I have also trained multiple colleagues and they can handle their own solo projects now.
On the day to day, I write test plans for the team and execute smoke testing and regression testing as well as bug reports and evidence collection. I have also pitched automated testing using web tools like Playwright, however this is in the early phase.
Constant communication with internal and external stakeholders is key.

Data Management Support Analyst

This is a small startup and I was the only software tester, as well as an overseas employee.
My role involved rigorous testing of the webpage and mobile app (with over 22 million users including the UK's National Health Service (NHS) to guarantee quality and assist with development of new features.
I also had important notes about the UI/UX of the product which were taken into account on a several occasions.
I was also responsible for reporting to the founders, detailing the testing methods and effectiveness of builds that were about to go Gold.

Software Tester

While I worked there, the company was called Testology. We were a testing outsource and as such, I was responsible for testing whatever we were handed on a given day. This meant I was constantly working on different apps and websites though the focus was on video games primarily.
For example, I was involved in testing:

*   AMC's The Walking Dead: No Man's Land
*   Windjammers (Port for the PS4)
*   Subway surfers (Multiple versions)
*   and many more

We primarily used Jira to log bug reports and communicate with the developers.

QA Tester

My responsibilities included testing and debugging the webpages and reports our systems created. I was also expected to make minor bugfixes when needed as well as occasionally speak to clients directly (in meetings and over the phone) when our testing methodology or system requirements needed to be communicated.
