I am currently in my second semester of the User Experience Design program. The past few months have been swift, challenging and exciting. Regardless, I’m proud of everything we’ve learned so far and look forward to endless improvements.

From our course structure, I learned and studied various topics like typography and type design, illustration and photography, packaging and print design, signage design and corporate identity systems. By applying critical thinking, creativity, experimentation, and evaluation; substantially supported by an inclusive approach that emphasizes difference, respects human, environmental and cultural diversity; I strive to create communication systems and experiences for the betterment of humanity and the environment.

MIT Institute of Design

Redesigning & redefining end-to-end product experience for existing & new users on the platform. 

Design and delivery of mobile & desktop platforms for a new e-comm vertical, Fanhood — that included apparel, figurines, and posters.

Rapid prototyping of visual designs to show user interactions.

Working and strategizing on the booking flows and different use cases to revamp the new version for booking movies & events.

Working closely with the product team to conceptualize product features for web and mobile and translate them into high fidelity designs that meet product feature goals.

Product Designer

Understanding information architecture, user research, user flows, and user testing for web and mobile platforms. It was also a learning experience in project management and project ownership.

Worked closely with front-end and back-end developers to meet the designs pixel perfect.

UI/UX Designer

I worked with a team on Mahindra Lifespaces and Logistics on a web platform. I started to understand the user study, their pain points & conceptualize designs accordingly. I gained basic knowledge in interaction design & understanding layout grids.

Managing client proposals from typography through to design, print, and production.

Initial inclination towards website designs and learning human behavior patterns.

Freelance Graphic Designer

Rebuilt visuals on digital platforms for diverse brands mainly under HUL.

Worked in collaboration with the marketing, film studio, & development teams in cohesion.

Handle the Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts to design posts for brands like Lakme, Dalda oils, BedHead by TIGI 

I also got a chance to represent BedHead & work with diverse teams at the LFW Summer Resort’15 as a Digital Media Designer.
